My Background

Manuella Côté, sometimes known under the pseudonym Manue, has been pencilling with passion since early childhood. She has been working in the world of illustration for more than 10 years and she intends to continue to live this dream for a long time. His brushes and pencils allowed him to explore a large number of techniques and styles, leaping between "traditional" and "digital" mediums with ease. All opportunities are good to learn a little more.

She realized her passion by starting her career in companies specializing in video games, such as Gorilla System and Frima Studio from 2007. Also wishing to be self-employed, she accepted a large number of freelance contracts in the field of graphic design, computer graphics and illustration. A small flame in her was burning with the desire to create and imagine without constraint and she decided, during her first maternity leave in 2011, to set up a collection of children's books under the banner Petit Pois Collection. Since 2014, she has been self-employed and gives herself fully to her art to the delight of young and old, as much for her shop as for several customers including publishing houses.

Manuella Côté, connue parfois sous le pseudonyme Manue, crayonne avec passion depuis la petite enfance. Elle œuvre dans le monde de l’illustration depuis plus de 10 ans et elle compte bien continuer de vivre ce rêve encore longtemps. Ses pinceaux et crayons lui ont permis d’explorer un grand nombre de techniques et de styles, bondissant entre les mediums « traditionnels » et « numériques » avec aise. Toutes les opportunités sont bonnes pour en apprendre un peu plus.

Elle concrétisa sa passion en débutant sa carrière dans des entreprises spécialisées en jeux vidéo, tel Gorilla System et Frima Studio à partir de 2007. Désirant aussi évoluer à son compte, elle accepta un grand nombre de contrats à la pige dans le domaine du graphisme, de l’infographie et de l’illustration. Une petite flamme en elle brulait d’envie de créer et d’imaginer sans contrainte et elle décida, lors de son premier congé de maternité en 2011, de mettre sur pied une collection de livres pour enfants sous la bannière Petit Pois Collection. Depuis 2014, elle travaille à son compte et se donne pleinement à son art au plaisir des jeunes et moins jeunes., autant pour sa boutique que pour plusieurs clients dont des maisons d'éditions.
